Synopsis
This drama depicts an imaginary woman-president in South Korea. It tries to take on the current issues in politics that deals with Korean citizenship and its international relationship. Seo Hye Rim hails from a countryside to Seoul to become a news anchor, a job coveted by many ambitious young girls. She is one who cannot pass injustice quietly and will speak out loudly. In Seoul, Hye Rim is an outstanding candidate for the prime time news anchor position; but, alas, as soon as the camera starts to roll, she becomes inept. Her speech becomes incoherent and her presence a nuisance. Everyone is so baffled by this ”fall from the grace,” but Hye Rim gets a sweep-under-the-rug. By and by, Hye Rim faces more injustices to her person and around. She becomes the spokesperson against such unfairness and attracts the attention of the political machine. Given the choice to run for a position in the political world or appear to side with the political thugs, she choose to run in the political race. She will face political pressure and potential impeachment from Kang Tae San and his followers. Ha Do Ya is a country boy-turned-prosecutor. He witnessed her loud speaking out to injustice and had fallen for her. Prosecutor Ha Do Ya is a man who is as bold as a tiger and as resourceful as a beaver.
