Synopsis

A young woman named Ji Hyun was enjoying absolute bliss as she was about to be married with her fiancé, but her perfect life is shattered in a car accident that left her in a coma. She is given a second chance at life by a reaper, but it comes with a condition: she has to find three people outside of her family who would cry genuine tears for her. In order to do this, she borrows the body of Yi Kyung, a part-time employee at a convenience store.

  19. although i was reluctant to watch this drama at first because i thought it was a sad story and have a heartbreaking ending but this drama have absolutely change my first perception! i think it have the best ending ever and i think the writer should definitely write another script based on this ending… just like how “my sassy girl” is the continuation of the movie “windstruck”! 49 days is so awesome!! i love it! congrats to the script writer and the production team of this drama!! you all this a great job! thumbs up!

  22. This was the greatest drama ever. I really recommend it regardless the sad ending. If it end like other cute-story dramas it wouldnt be so high level drama for me. And it really gave me good lesson. Thanks Mehanata, I am glad you upload also torrents. 🙂

  29. At first, I thought this drama was so-so. I watched it because it was okay and I had nothing better to watch. However, by episode 6, it really picked up and now it’s one of my favorite dramas. The ending was amazing.

    There are very few dramas that have a good ending and this is definitely one of those few. Totally impressed! They added twists at the end and made it into a solid storyline. Everything was closed off wonderfully and I’m really impressed by the overall story and depth of the plot. Very well done.

    The characters’ personalities were well written and the casting was very good.

    And I loved the extra story of Yi Kyung and Yi Soo and how it intertwined brilliantly with the main plot.

    I give this drama an overall rating of 9 out of 10 stars (would’ve gotten a perfect score had the beginning episodes been more interesting).

    Side note:
    Because it was ended so well, I honestly think it would be a huge mistake to have a second season (and I really don’t know how they could possibly do that). However, I’m up for another 49 Days with different characters but the same writers. The main plot could still be there (of schedulers and giving a person 49 days in someone else’s body) but with a different story to tell.
